Job Summary

Slocan Community Hospital is seeking a reliable and flexible Casual Food Service Worker II to join their team. The successful candidate will work a rotating schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.

The Casual shifts of this position include all of the following hours:

10:48 to 18:30

Requirements

The ideal candidate must have a valid Food Safe Certificate and be able to perform a variety of duties within a Food Service Operation, including portioning and serving meals and beverages, setting tables and trays, collecting and unloading food service wagons, washing and peeling vegetables and fruit, preparing items for procedures, counting, weighing and/or measuring ingredients, preparing beverages and food items, washing dishes and utensils, performing cleaning duties, and clerical duties such as answering the telephone and running diet sheets off the computer.
