Job Summary

Northern Health Authority is seeking a skilled Community Health Worker II to provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan. As part of an interprofessional health care team, you will assist with activities of daily living, promote maximum independence, and ensure the well-being of individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide home support services to clients in accordance with a pre-established care plan
• Assist with activities of daily living, such as bathing, grooming, and oral hygiene
• Promote maximum independence and well-being of individuals and families
• Perform delegated tasks for which delegation of tasks training has been completed

Requirements

• Graduation from a recognized Home Support Attendant/Resident Care Aid Program
• Registration with the BC Care Aid & Community Health Worker Registry
• Valid Class 5 BC Drivers' License
• Certificates in CPR, First Aid, and Food Safe
• Use of personal vehicle
• Or equivalent combination of current education, training, and experience

Qualifications

• Graduation from a recognized Home Support Attendant/Resident Care Aid Program
