Senior Technical Officer

The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Officer - Trades to join our team. As a key member of our technical team, you will provide design solutions, cost confirmation, project analysis, and/or studies to ensure the lowest capital cost possible for capital projects and operations/maintenance activities.
The successful candidate will have a recognized trades certificate in a related discipline and 6 years' experience with housing design and construction, along with 2 years of Project Management experience. Experience working in cold climate construction and knowledge of Auto Cad are considered assets.
The Official Languages of Nunavut are Inuktut, English and French. Applicants may submit their resume in any of the official languages of Nunavut. Fluency in Inuktitut or Inuinnaqtun would be considered an asset.
An eligibility list may be created to fill similar current and future vacancies across Nunavut.
