About the Role

Bethany is seeking a talented clinical educator to support dementia education at the Bethany Calgary site located at 916 18A Street NW. The position will be located at Bethany Calgary, but may be required to provide support to other sites when required.

The primary responsibility is to provide orientation for new employees and develop and deliver clinical education to Bethany employees in close collaboration with site leaders.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess:

  • A Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with the College and Association of Registered Nurses of Alberta (CARNA)
  • Post graduate training in Adult Education or related plus three to five years of direct experience as an educator in a clinical environment (preferably with geriatric population with a focus in dementia care)
  • CPR trainer certificate, Supportive Pathways training preferred
  • Experience with eMAR and electronic documentation software (e.g., Point Click Care)
  • Proficiency with current productivity software, such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint as well as experience with multimedia applications
Estimated Salary Range:

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience
