We are seeking a skilled Clinical Practice Specialist - Respiratory Care to join our team. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
About the Role
The Clinical Practice Specialist - Respiratory Care will work closely with our respiratory therapy team to develop, implement, and evaluate education programs for healthcare professionals. This includes creating learning resources, assessment tools, and lesson plans, as well as delivering content virtually and in-person.
Main Responsibilities
- Mentor and support respiratory therapists in their professional development
- Develop and implement education programs for respiratory care professionals
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to meet educational needs
- Evaluate learning outcomes and make recommendations for improvement
- Stay up-to-date with current research and best practices in respiratory care
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or a related field
- Active or eligible registration with the College and Association of Respiratory Therapists of Alberta (CARTA)
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
Compensation and Benefits
