About the Clinical Educator Role

Bethany Calgary is seeking a skilled clinical educator to support dementia education at our site located in Calgary. The position will be based at Bethany Calgary, but may require collaboration with other sites as needed. The clinical educator will report to the RAI Program and Education Manager as part of a large clinical education team.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of the clinical educator is to provide high-quality orientation for new employees and develop and deliver clinical education to Bethany employees in collaboration with site leaders. Additionally, the clinical educator will work with other educators, policy, and program leads across Bethany sites to identify and prioritize process improvement opportunities and support organizational initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) in good standing with CARNA
  • Post-graduate training in Adult Education or related field, plus 3-5 years of experience as an educator in a clinical setting
  • Experience with eMAR and electronic documentation software is an asset
  • CPR trainer certificate and Supportive Pathways training are preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and multimedia applications
