Job Summary

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a unique blend of education, healthcare, and leadership skills. As a Coordinating Education Specialist, you will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing strategic business processes in the Student Practice Education portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement centralized processes to support student practice education and meet operational training needs and workforce challenges.
  • Act as a liaison between educational institutions, healthcare practice environments, and administrative departments to cultivate mutual collaboration and support student learning and placements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to teams to achieve strategic objectives and improve patient care.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to design education services and solutions to address complex problems.
  • Conduct research, synthesize evidence, and conduct informal and formal evaluations to inform education strategies.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a health sciences field, plus three to five years of recent, related experience in undergraduate/post-graduate education or a related field.
  • Training and/or experience in mediation and conflict resolution, coaching, and people management.
  • Proven experience in tactical planning, change management, and stakeholder engagement.
  • Class 5 Driver's License.
