Job Summary

We are seeking an Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team at Hamilton Health Sciences Corporation. This role will provide comprehensive care and coordination to children aged 0-17, focusing on maximizing their occupational performance and recovery in the inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply clinical expertise in pediatric disease processes and related complex medical and surgical conditions to provide evidence-based occupational therapy practice.
  • Liaise and communicate with team members to facilitate and coordinate community services and supports.
  • Work with pediatric surgical, GI, and complex care populations and their families in the inpatient setting.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved School of Occupational Therapy.
  • Relevant experience, knowledge, and clinical skills in the provision of evidence-based occupational therapy practice in the management of infants, children, adolescents, and their families.
  • Well-developed knowledge of the role of occupational therapy services, and other disciplines along the continuum of care.
