About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Lifemark Health Group. As an Occupational Therapist, you will be responsible for assessing and treating adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess and treat clients with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions
- Develop and implement holistic, individualized treatment plans
- Manage a diverse caseload in a fast-paced multidisciplinary work environment
- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team of clinicians and various stakeholders
- Preceptorship/co-preceptorship of Occupational Therapy students
Requirements:
- Registration (member in good standing) with the provincial College of Occupational Therapists
- Solid experience of 3-5 years experience in assessing and treating adults with complex musculoskeletal, neurological, and mental health conditions
- Experience in Occupational, OWN or WSIB, Veterans Rehabilitation and Mental Health is a significant asset
- Ability to be self-directed and autonomous, working independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize, manage self-scheduling and meet reporting deadlines
- Demonstrated commitment to post-graduate professional development
- Excellent oral, written and report-writing skills
- Proficiency with computers and new technology
- Strong interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills
- Must have own vehicle and a valid Driver's license is required
