Job Description

Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company is seeking a highly skilled Director, Product Strategy & Management to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and direction for product management at Cigna Health and Life Insurance Company.
  • Develop and execute a long-term strategic product roadmap using disciplined business planning and cross-company collaboration.
  • Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams and transform complex concepts into simple concepts.
  • Oversight of the product portfolio, focusing on strategic planning, market analysis, innovation, client insights, and financial modeling.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and research to adapt and inform product strategy and direction.
  • Analyze product performance and make data-driven recommendations for future enhancement or decommissioning of existing products.
  • Study and assess new markets, regulatory requirements, applications, products, and partners to determine opportunities for new products and their impact on existing offerings.
  • Foster relationships with external stakeholders and potential strategic partners to evolve opportunity analysis and product development.
  • Collaborate with Project Management Office to ensure quality end-to-end product delivery.

Requirements:

  • MBA or Product Manager certification is an asset.
  • ~5+ years experience in Product Management, Product Development; previous experience in Program Management and Project Management is an asset.
  • ~ Previous health benefit management or group health insurance industry experience.
  • ~ You take a 360-degree view of product management which includes operational readiness like customer support, product ops, analytics and track the impact on key metrics.
  • ~ Experience managing financial reporting and understanding how the numbers tie to the business operations.
  • ~ Data-driven approach with advanced analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a sharp eye for quality and detail.
  • ~ Strong creation and delivery of succinct presentations to executive leaders.
  • ~ Knowledge in financial analysis and modeling; Bilingual in English and French.
