Key Account Manager - Wine Sales

We are seeking a highly motivated and charismatic Key Account Manager to join our dynamic sales team at JRoss Hospitality Recruiters. As a Key Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts, building relationships, and driving sales with hospitality industry clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities and grow existing accounts by building relationships with restaurants, hotels, retail stores, and other beverage vendors.
  • Manage a portfolio of clients within the territory, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customers, resolving any issues, and providing product recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor activity and report relevant insights to adjust strategies accordingly.
  • Organize and participate in wine tastings, promotional events, and training sessions for customers.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, forecasts, and account reviews for management.
  • Travel within the assigned territory to meet with clients regularly, ensuring consistent presence and support.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a commissioned salesperson, ideally within the restaurant, hotel, or retail sectors.
  • Strong interpersonal skills – charismatic, personable, and self-motivated.
  • Familiarity with the hospitality industry and key decision-makers within it.
  • Ability to work independently, managing your schedule and priorities effectively.
  • Passion for wine; formal wine education or experience is ideal.
