Job Summary

As the Executive Director of Strategic Development and Real Estate, you will provide senior leadership and direction to the planning and development of Fraser Health facilities, including leasing and property management. This role is responsible for overseeing the strategic planning and direction of the department, ensuring performance excellence, and achieving improvements in efficiencies and risk, quality, and service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide senior leadership and direction to the planning and development of Fraser Health facilities.
  • Oversee the strategic planning and direction of the department, ensuring performance excellence.
  • Develop and implement effective strategies relating to real estate, land acquisition/disposition, leasing, and property management.
  • Contribute to the effective strategic direction of the Facilities Management department.
  • Provide overall leadership and oversight in the planning and day-to-day operations of services to drive operational excellence.

Qualifications

  • Master's Degree and/or professional designation in a relevant discipline.
  • 15 years' recent, related experience in progressively more complex and senior management/leadership roles in a large multi-site organization.
  • Proven ability to define/amalgamate diverse organizational requirements, financial parameters, resolve issues, identify and mitigate operational project risks, and develop long-range plans.
  • Proven senior facility project management expertise, including the ability to manage consultant contracts, capital implementation, construction, and renovation projects.
