Job Summary:
The Territory Sales Representative is responsible for driving growth and expansion of direct sales and profit margins within assigned accounts and/or territory/region on products or services. Establishes professional relationships with key personnel in customer accounts. Meets assigned targets for profitable sales volume and margin dollars.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet and/or exceed assigned quotes and goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, including Orthodontists and their professional and clinical teams.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach to understand customer needs and provide solutions that meet their requirements.
- Stay up-to-date on new products and services, and effectively communicate their value to customers.
- Manage and analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Provide timely and effective response to customer inquiries and concerns.
- Develop and maintain accurate sales records and reports.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree preferred; or 3+ years of successful B2B sales experience in lieu of education.
- 2+ years of outside sales experience with industry experience a plus.
- Candidates should live within the territory, preferably in the Greater Toronto Area.
- Valid state or provincial license with an acceptable driving record.
Preferred Skills:
- Medical Devices, Dental or Healthcare sales experience highly desired.
- Proven selling and customer relationship and territory management skills.
- Ability to effectively manage assigned accounts in terms of driving utilization, customer relationship management, problem resolution, and business and territory planning.
- Proven effective verbal, computer, written and presentation/communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability of critical and agile thinking.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, CRM (SF.com or Dynamics).
- Strong clinical and technical knowledge, with the confidence to knowledgably engage customers.
- Professional presence that influences desired results with both external and internal stakeholders.
- Strong emotional intelligence.
- Self-starter, self-motivator.
- Driven by professional ownership of their franchise and its success.
- Ability to quickly adapt and respond to job, environmental, and industry changes.
