Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team in delivering mental health services to diverse audiences. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will have the opportunity to leverage your psychological competencies to implement evidence-based and process expertise in meaningful step-care mental health programs.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement new mental health program content for various client groups
- Leverage novel approaches to the delivery of mental health services, including adjunct digital therapeutics
- Conduct psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning
- Provide evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches
- Consult with other mental health service team members and clinical interdisciplinary teams
- Contribute to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions
- Contribute to program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
- Current registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (competency with adult populations; clinical)
- Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
- Applied experience in conducting psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning
- Experience in providing evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches
- Experience in developing and evaluating mental health programs
- Experience in working in interdisciplinary teams and with third party payers
- Experience in utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods
