About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to work with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals, delivering high-quality mental health services to diverse populations. As a psychologist with Lifemark Health Group, you will have the chance to develop new mental health program content, leverage novel approaches to service delivery, and bring your unique assessment competencies to a range of applications.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver individual and group treatment programs for conditions such as anxiety, trauma, depression, and substance misuse
- Conduct psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning
- Provide evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and third-party payers to deliver comprehensive care
- Contribute to in-house training sessions and interdisciplinary case discussions
- Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
- Current registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology
- Individual professional liability insurance
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of interdisciplinary teams
