About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at pt Health. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing high-quality mental health services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based mental health programs for various client groups
  • Leverage novel approaches to the delivery of mental health services, including digital therapeutics
  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and provide individual and group treatment for a range of mental health conditions
  • Consult with interdisciplinary teams and contribute to in-house training sessions and case discussions
  • Contribute to program outcome evaluations at the provincial and national level
Requirements
  • Master's Degree or Ph.D. in Psychology from an accredited university
  • Current registration in good standing with the Nova Scotia Board of Examiners in Psychology (competency with adult populations; clinical)
  • Individual professional liability insurance required at time of employment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience conducting psychological assessments with adults for various goals, including treatment planning
  • Experience providing evidence-based treatments grounded in cognitive-behavioral approaches
  • Experience developing and evaluating mental health programs
  • Experience working in interdisciplinary teams and with third-party payers
  • Experience utilizing telehealth/virtual care methods
