Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Indian Courtyard Restaurant. As a key member of our restaurant operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring seamless service delivery and minimizing delays.

Train and Develop Staff

Provide comprehensive training to staff members on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring they are equipped to deliver exceptional service.

Inventory Management

Estimate and manage ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring optimal stock levels and minimizing waste.

Quality Control and Assurance

Ensure that food and service meet our high quality control standards, addressing any issues promptly and efficiently.

Customer Service

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Record Keeping and Reporting

Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, providing valuable insights for business growth and improvement.

Communication and Collaboration

Prepare food order summaries for the chef, facilitating effective communication and collaboration within the kitchen team.

Requirements
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Permanent employment
  • Fluent in English
  • 40 hours per week
