About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
    • Lead and motivate a team of food service staff to ensure excellent customer service and food quality.
    • Coordinate staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that all food is prepared and served to the highest standards of quality and safety.
    • Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that food meets our standards.
  • Manage Inventory and Supplies
    • Manage inventory levels and ensure that all supplies are ordered and received in a timely manner.
    • Monitor and control costs associated with inventory and supplies.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met.
    • Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Knowledge of food safety and quality control procedures.
