About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our food quality meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Food Service Staff
    • Lead and motivate a team of food service staff to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
    • Coordinate the preparation and serving of food and beverages to meet customer demand.
  • Train and Develop Staff
    • Provide training and coaching to food service staff to ensure that they have the skills and knowledge required to perform their duties effectively.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Food and Beverage Inventory
    • Oversee the ordering and inventory of food and beverage supplies to ensure that we have the necessary stock to meet customer demand.
    • Monitor and control food and beverage costs to ensure that they are within budget.
  • Ensure Quality and Safety Standards
    • Ensure that all food and beverages are prepared and served to the highest quality standards.
    • Implement and maintain quality control and safety procedures to ensure that our customers receive safe and healthy food.
  • Manage Customer Service
    • Ensure that all customers receive exceptional service and that their needs are met promptly and efficiently.
    • Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Perform Administrative Tasks
    • Prepare and submit reports and other administrative documents as required.
    • Manage and maintain accurate records and files.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
