We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Planning Lead to join our team at Echelon 56.

Job Summary

The Strategic Financial Planning Lead will be responsible for supporting the budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning process at Echelon 56 through data collection, assumption setting, scenario analysis, and target setting activities. This role will also involve liaising with business unit leaders to ensure timely submission of inputs with high accuracy and adequate support for assumptions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the development of financial plans and forecasts that align with Echelon 56's business objectives.
  • Analyze financial data and prepare presentations for senior management highlighting performance gaps and opportunities for improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide value-added financial analysis supporting business decision-making.
  • Manage staff workload and properly allocate resources to ensure timely completion of work.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Candidates should have a CA, CMA, CGA, or US CPA designation.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis within the P&C Insurance industry is required.
  • A university degree majoring in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is necessary.
  • Knowledge of IFRS17 as it relates to P&C Insurance is a strong asset.
  • Possess excellent project management skills and the ability to organize and manage large complex projects and multiple priorities.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills including written and oral communication with the ability to communicate data and findings to various levels of audiences within the organization.
