Job Summary

Fernie Pizza & Pasta is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our restaurant operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest level of quality and service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient food preparation and service
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records
  • Financial Management
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates for food and supplies
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Reporting and Communication
    • Prepare and submit reports on food service operations and sales
    • Communicate effectively with staff, management, and customers to ensure seamless service
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Work Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service management role
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Personal Qualities
    • Client focus and attention to detail
    • Flexibility and ability to work under pressure
    • Team player with excellent communication skills
