Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food products.
  • Inventory and Supply Management
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports on inventory and supply levels.
  • Staff Management
    • Hire and train food service staff to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
    • Develop and implement training programs to improve staff performance and productivity.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
    • Stand for extended periods and work in a standing position.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high pressure.
    • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
    • Ability to train and develop staff.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position working 35 hours per week. The ideal candidate will have a valid driver's license and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
