About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as an Inside Support Representative. In this role, you will provide exceptional support to our outside District Sales Representatives, ensuring seamless order and delivery interactions with customers via phone, email, and Gordon Ordering.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with other departments to meet customer needs, internal reporting, and customer record keeping.
  • Participate in general sales meetings, promotions, and facilitate food show registration.
  • Take orders from various customers as needed via phone or email.
  • Stay up-to-date with product offerings, market trends, and customer needs while learning about our organizational offerings and systems.
  • Demonstrate strong customer service skills when dealing with unique or difficult situations.
  • Provide support to sales representatives coordinating customer service, orders, credits, etc. during special large events.
  • Support and assist DSR for vacation coverage and seasonally based on needs.
  • Provide routing assistance for changes to deliveries such as time delays, adjustments in delivery days, etc.
  • Detail customer complaints, track the same issues that multiple customers have, and report problems as necessary.
  • Work on the road with sales reps and visit customers.
Requirements
  • Good customer service and time management skills.
  • Ability to perform 10-key data entry.
  • Excellent written, verbal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Highly organized with a great attention to detail.
  • Encourages collaboration with others to achieve a common goal.
  • A self-starter that can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Must be a strategic thinker, inquisitive, innovative, and creative in order to build relationships, network, link resources, and apply business practices.
  • Excellent computer skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and be able to work independently or within a team environment.
  • Ability to learn and use SAP, CRM, Gordon Ordering online, and other various systems.
