Job Description

This position involves working with children in grades 1-5, developing and implementing programs that cater to their diverse needs and abilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in child and youth development, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to teamwork.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and deliver age-appropriate programs that promote social, emotional, and academic growth in children.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure effective program delivery and participant satisfaction.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation, including activity plans and daily reports.
  • Provide homework support and individualized attention to children as needed.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 6 months' experience working with children in direct program delivery.
  • Enrollment in a post-secondary program in Child and Youth Studies, Recreation and Leisure, or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
