Director of Optimization Research

CAE Flight Services is seeking a highly skilled Director, Operations Research to lead our international team specializing in optimization services. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for developing and implementing analytical methods to solve complex problems and drive business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of optimization experts to design and implement mathematical models and algorithms to optimize business processes.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and develop solutions that meet customer needs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in optimization techniques and technologies.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
- Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in optimization, with a strong background in mathematical modeling and algorithm development.
- Proven leadership skills, with experience managing teams and driving business growth.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
- Experience with C++, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
- Knowledge of machine learning and data analytics techniques.
