Director, Operations Research and Optimization

CAE Flight Services is a leading provider of flight operations and optimization digital solutions to the aviation industry. As a Director, Operations Research, you will lead an international team specializing in optimization services, working closely with customers and internal stakeholders to understand the logic and requirements of airline operations.
Key Responsibilities- Provide support during all phases of a product lifecycle, from sales demonstrations to after-sales service.
- Work with customers to understand their needs and provide creative solutions to improve their operations.
- Provide third-level support and training courses to customers.
- Be responsible for technical and team leadership through coaching and mentorship.
- Maintain high standards of software quality within the team.
- Master's degree in Operations Research, Computer Science, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience leading an international team is a strong asset.
- Extensive knowledge and experience in building solutions based on mathematical programming models.
- Strong knowledge of mathematical programming models, such as LP/IP, network flow, and large-scale optimization.
- Strong experience in enterprise software development and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills in English and French.
