Parts Department Manager

Brandt is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Field Operations Manager - Parts for the Atlantic region. This position is responsible for providing leadership and support to the customer-facing parts support functions within our Peterbilt dealerships.
Key Responsibilities:- Strategic Business Planning: Execute our customer support business plan and strategies to drive profitability in the parts departments.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and lead the branch parts teams to ensure they are equipped to support their customers effectively.
- Financial Management: Review financials for the stores and conduct monthly reviews with the team to identify areas for improvement.
- Performance Improvement: Develop plans to enhance the performance of each department and ensure that branch visit report cards are reviewed and action items are addressed.
- Operational Excellence: Support the implementation of 5S and Lean principles across the organization.
- Dealer Audit: Ensure that dealer audit criteria are met at the stores.
- Collaboration: Work closely with Division and Regional CSA managers to provide consistent support to the stores.
- Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of heavy machinery dealer business practices.
- Customer Support: Knowledge of customer support processes, specifically parts operations.
- Interpersonal Skills: Skilled in interpersonal communications, negotiation, and conflict resolution.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of products, customers, markets, and competitors.
- Branch Operations: Keen understanding of branch operations for parts.
- Financial Acumen: Financial acumen with a focus on branch GL's.
- Leadership: Ability to teach financial acumen to managers.
