Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Developer to join our team at CB Canada. As a Salesforce Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, testing, and deploying solutions for our Salesforce environments using Apex and Visualforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop Salesforce solutions to meet business requirements
  • Estimate and plan tasks related to Salesforce development
  • Configure, build, and test application or technical architecture components
  • Support the gathering and documenting of business requirements and translate them into designs, data models, and technical requirements
  • Fix software defects and performance problems
  • Document solutions to facilitate maintenance
  • Work with other developers, designers, and architects to ensure that the configuration and custom components meet application requirements and performance goals
  • Follow good security coding practices to ensure the application is free of most common coding vulnerabilities
  • Participate in transitions of the application or technical architecture components to the testers
  • Work with Manager to provide scope and timelines
  • Research and recommend new technologies and trends to continually improve Innomar Salesforce instances and related business applications
Requirements
  • Requires some training in fields such as business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar vocations generally obtained through completion of a four-year Bachelor's Degree program, technical vocational training, or equivalent combination of experience and education
  • Normally requires a minimum of five (5) years directly related and progressively responsible experience; experience with PC tools that are used in the workplace such as DOS, Windows, XP, NT, Microsoft Office Suite; application development (programming) and/or web-based (internet) experience preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in Salesforce development
  • Experience with Apex and Visualforce. Additionally, experience with HTML5, JavaScript, and jQuery would be an asset
  • Experience with Rest Web services, JSON Data format, and serialization, OAuth2 authorization standard
  • Java and.NET development backgrounds are advantages
  • Skills in executing tests, managing source code control, and deploying packages
  • Experience with Salesforce declarative configurations, features, approaches, limitation tools, and security requirements
  • Experience with software development lifecycle (SDLC) and system management processes, including requirements management, design, configuration, and user acceptance testing
  • Strong problem-solving, trouble-shooting, and performance management skills
  • Strong team player with a customer service-oriented attitude
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and detail orientation with ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Administrator and Developer certifications are preferred
