This is a permanent opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst - Cost Optimization at a well-known manufacturing company in the Oakville area. In this position, you will have the chance to develop and maintain documentation for master data creation and maintenance that is centrally controlled. You will also be responsible for monitoring unit cost variance, implementing cost standards for materials and labor, preparing cost of goods sold and production reports, reconciling beginning raw materials, work-in-progress, and finished-goods stock, and developing yearly factory rates based on capacity planning and implementing in SAP.

You will evaluate, adapt, and maintain standard costing in SAP according to group standards, implement production closing for all factories at each month-end, review output variances, and complete quarterly evaluations of inventory and update Salesforce accordingly. Your strong organizational, communication, problem-solving, and research abilities will enable you to excel in this role and advance your career.

To succeed as a Senior Financial Analyst - Cost Optimization, you will need a minimum of 2 years of cost accounting experience in a large manufacturing company, a Bachelor's degree in an accounting/finance discipline, knowledge of SAP or ERP software, and proficiency in Excel. Experience using Salesforce is an asset. Strong communication skills, knowledge of inventory analysis and data management, eagerness to collaborate with multiple departments, and ability to travel throughout the year are also essential.
