About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Dietitian to join our team at Wholesome Kids Catering. As a key member of our nutrition team, you will play a vital role in developing and implementing nutrition-focused initiatives that support the health and well-being of children in our care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement nutrition-focused articles, recipes, and educational content for our website and social media channels.
  • Provide expert nutrition advice and guidance to parents, caregivers, and centre administrators through various channels, including workshops, presentations, and online resources.
  • Collaborate with our Menu Steering and Development Team to create menus that are both nutritious and appealing to children.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and best practices in pediatric nutrition and apply this knowledge to inform our nutrition initiatives.
  • Participate in community events and Trusted Partner activities to promote Wholesome Kids Catering's commitment to nutrition and wellness.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics, Nutrition, or equivalent from an accredited university.
  • Completion of a Dietitians of Canada accredited Dietetic Internship, or equivalent.
  • Member in good standing of the College of Dietitians of Ontario.
  • 5 years' experience in dietitian services, preferably with a pediatric focus.
Skills and Qualities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience with ERP systems and/or nutritional analysis software an asset.
