Property Portfolio Coordinator

Job Summary
The Property Portfolio Assistant provides critical support to tenants and Property Portfolio Managers in the administration of housing programs and services. This role involves rent calculations, annual reviews, and maintenance processes of housing stock, as well as the initial setup and ongoing maintenance of tenant records using established protocols and BC Housing's systems and databases.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with rent calculations and annual reviews
- Support the maintenance of housing stock and tenant records
- Provide administrative support to Property Portfolio Managers
- Assist with the initial setup and ongoing maintenance of tenant records
- Ensure accuracy and initiate corrective action when necessary
Requirements
- High school graduation plus completion of post-secondary courses in business or program administration
- Considerable related progressive experience in a comparable environment
- Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience acceptable to the Employer
Desirable Skills and Abilities
- Working knowledge of business and program administration
- Proficient in office systems and operating procedures
- Proficient with computer applications, including MS Office
- Good keyboarding skills with minimum of 50 wpm keyboard speed
- Strong mathematical and analytical skills
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage files and organize confidential documentation
- Ability to handle sensitive situations and difficult conversations
- Ability to work efficiently, independently, and within a team
- Ability to investigate and solve problems creatively and within established regulations
- Ability to take initiative and work independently with limited supervision
- Ability to be highly organized and manage multiple responsibilities
- Ability to interpret financial documents accurately
- Ability to exercise good judgment
- Ability to learn computer applications and administrative tasks quickly and efficiently
