About YouWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a graduate degree from a recognized Community College Physiotherapist Assistant program, BLS-C certification, and excellent communication skills. Previous experience working with physically and/or cognitively impaired individuals is an asset. Knowledge of proper body mechanics, anatomy, and basic computer skills is also required. Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset.
Responsibilities- Provide physiotherapy care and support to patients
- Assist patients in achieving their physiotherapy goals
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Work collaboratively with the physiotherapy team to provide holistic and comprehensive care
- Complete standardized outcome measures and implement assigned physiotherapy treatment plans
