Physiotherapist - Rehabilitation Services

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team in a care setting where you will assess, diagnose, and treat patients with actual or potential impairment, pain, functional limitations, or disabilities. As a Physiotherapist, you will develop holistic treatment programs using exercises, education, and manual, mechanical, electrical, and hydrotherapy techniques to assist patients in regaining and/or maintaining optimal function.
You will work collaboratively with other health disciplines, the general public, family members, and caregivers to promote health, provide physiotherapy treatment, and manage patient care. Additionally, you will provide supervision and evaluation of physiotherapy students and supervise physiotherapy assistants and aides.
About YouWe are looking for a highly qualified candidate with a Master's or Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy from an accredited university. Membership with the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists is also required. You should possess excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as computer skills, including statistics input and word processing. Annual Cardio-pulmonary Resuscitation certification (BCLS) and Annual Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System training and certification (WHMIS) are also necessary.
Competencies in other languages, particularly French, are an asset. You should be able to work in a diverse environment and possess the ability to adapt to changing situations. Please ensure your resume is up-to-date and includes all relevant education, experience, training, and certifications.
HoursThis is a permanent, full-time position with 75 hours bi-weekly. Shifts include weekends in a rotational schedule, and some travel between sites may be required.
Compensation and IncentivesThe hourly rate for this position is $33.97 - $42.89. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
