Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year

Job Description
We are seeking an experienced HR Business Partner to collaborate with all levels of employees and support discussions on compliance with Collective Bargaining Agreements (CBAs), Employment Agreements, policies, and legislation. The ideal candidate will have expertise in conflict resolution, attendance management, goal setting, performance management, succession planning, talent management, organizational change, and discipline. Additionally, they will be responsible for contract negotiations, researching issues, and providing relevant information and support throughout the process. Furthermore, they will lead recruitment and onboarding efforts to source quality individuals to support Algoma's short, medium, and long-term needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require a university degree or college diploma in HR or Business Administration, or equivalent work experience. HR/LR experience in a unionized industrial/manufacturing environment is preferred. You must also have experience interpreting and advising on Collecting Bargaining Agreements. Project management skills and proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint, SAP are essential.
