Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at KH Renovations. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various locations.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare, measure, and mark surfaces to be covered with tiles.
- Mortar Application: Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.
- Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base.
- Tile Alignment: Align and straighten tiles to ensure a professional finish.
- Tile Cutting: Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools.
- Grout Application: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout.
- Tile Repair: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles.
- Terra Surface Installation: Mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
- Tile Strip Installation: Install tile strips.
- Work Setting: Various locations.
- Work Conditions: Physically demanding.
- Attention to Detail: High level of attention to detail required.
- Work Term: Permanent.
- Work Language: English.
- Hours: 40 hours per week.
