We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at KH Renovations. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles on walls and floors, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Prepare surfaces to be covered with tiles, measuring and marking them accurately.
- Mortar Application: Mix, apply, and spread mortar, cement, mastic, glue, or other adhesives using a hand trowel.
- Tile Installation: Set tiles in place and apply pressure to affix them to the base, ensuring proper alignment and straightening.
- Grouting and Finishing: Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout, and mix, lay, and polish terra surfaces.
- Tile Repair and Replacement: Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles, and install tile strips.
- Work Conditions: This role is physically demanding and requires attention to detail.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a permanent employment contract.
- Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
