About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at GRW Contracting Ltd. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic, porcelain, and natural stone tiles in various settings, including commercial and residential projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tile
  • Mix and apply adhesives, mortars, and grouts
  • Set and align tiles to ensure proper fit and finish
  • Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
  • Pack and remove excess grout
  • Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
  • Lay and set mosaic tiles for decorative designs
Requirements
  • Tilesetter Trade Certification
  • First Aid Certificate
  • CPR Certificate
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Basic security clearance
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation and vehicle
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires the ability to handle heavy loads, bend, crouch, and kneel. You must be able to distinguish between colors and have excellent hand-eye coordination. Overtime may be required.
