Tile Setter

We are seeking a skilled Tile Setter to join our team at GRW Contracting Ltd. As a Tile Setter, you will be responsible for installing ceramic tiles on walls and floors, ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and measure surfaces to be covered with tiles
- Mix and apply adhesives to tiles, ensuring a strong bond
- Set tiles in place, aligning and straightening them to achieve a professional finish
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings using hand and power cutting tools
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative wall, mural, and floor designs
- Install tile strips
- Tilesetter Trade Certification
- First Aid Certificate
- CPR Certificate
- Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
- Basic security clearance
- Valid driver's license
- Own transportation
- Own vehicle
As a Tile Setter, you will work in a fast-paced environment, often on-site, and may be required to work at heights or in confined spaces. You will be exposed to dust, odors, and noise, and will need to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) to ensure your safety.
