Assembly Technician

About the Job:
CB Canada is seeking an experienced Assembly Technician to join our team in Richmond, Burnaby, or New Westminster area. The successful candidate will have a mechanical background and be responsible for assembling electrical and mechanical components, wiring harnesses, and connectors according to blueprints, schematics, or written work instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical and mechanical components, wiring harnesses, and connectors
- Fabricate mounting assemblies for system components
- Work may include fitting or soldering parts together, using adhesives and epoxies
- Operate machinery in the production of finished products
- Manage and restock consumable parts
- Keep work area clean and organized, following a LEAN, 6S model
- Report problems in the assembly process to the department manager
- Perform quality control of the product
Requirements:
- Mechanical background preferred
- Manual dexterity, written and verbal communication skills
- Dedication, reliability, and dependability
- Proactive in identifying areas of improvement in manufacturing
