Electrical Assembly Technician

At CB Canada, we are seeking an Electrical Assembly Technician to join our team in Richmond, Burnaby, or New Westminster.

Salary: $18 to $20 per hour + 4% vacation pay, paid weekly

Job Overview

We are a leader in remote guarding video surveillance and offer a clean and safe work environment. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent.

The successful candidate will work Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm and enjoy a dynamic work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly of Electrical Components: Assemble electrical components, wiring harnesses, and connectors using blueprints, schematics, or written work instructions.
  • Fabrication of Mounting Assemblies: Fabricate mounting assemblies for system components.
  • Soldering and Adhesive Application: Work may include fitting or soldering parts together. Some assemblies require the use of adhesives and epoxies.
  • Operational Support: May operate machinery in the production of finished products.
  • Inventory Management: Manage and restock consumable parts for use in the assembly of products.
  • Quality Control: Keep records up to date and ensure quality control of the product.
  • Problem-Solving: Report problems in the assembly process to the department manager.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a mechanical background and manual dexterity. Additionally, you should be proactive in identifying areas of improvement in manufacturing, dedicated, reliable, and dependable. Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
