About the Opportunity

Coca-Cola Canada Bottling Limited seeks a skilled Reliable Equipment Servicing Technician to provide expert maintenance support to plant operations. As a key member of our Maintenance Team, you will be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting problems in mechanical systems within production equipment and processes.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on all mechanical/electrical systems and equipment, including disassembly, cleaning, reassembly, and calibration.
  • Analyze test results, machine error messages, and information obtained from operators to diagnose equipment and system problems.
  • Repair and maintain the operating condition of production equipment, ensuring prompt and efficient production.
  • Continuously improve technical skills to remain current on equipment installation and operations, including setup and programming processes.
  • Apply welding skills to cut and weld metal for parts repairs, fabrication, and assembly of new equipment.
  • Demonstrate operation of production equipment to new machine operators, clearly explaining safety features and control systems.
  • Enter repair and maintenance data into SAP system using proper damage codes.
  • Communicate potential mechanical hazards to leadership and operators, promoting a safe working environment.
  • Coordinate completion of work orders with cross-functional team members to ensure cost-effectiveness and productivity standards.
  • Prioritize safety-related work orders, adhering to Provincial and Federal regulations as well as company policy and procedures.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives for operations and the organization as a whole.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of two years of work experience in a maintenance role or equivalent vocational training
  • Strong background in hydraulics, controls, welding, electrical, PLCs, machine tools, and pneumatics
  • Working knowledge of hand, power, and electrical testing tools
  • Ability to read and understand one-line diagrams, blueprints, and schematics
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SAP
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to work collaboratively and effectively with other departments
Compensation and Benefits:

The estimated salary range for this position is $65,000-$85,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
