Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement alumni engagement activities that support strategic objectives
  • Conceptualize, organize, and execute event activities to engage donors, prospects, and alumni
  • Build and strengthen relationships with stakeholders and partners of strategic importance
  • Review and identify prospects for the annual fund and major gift portfolios
  • Implement components of fundraising campaigns and manage volunteer engagement
  • Update prospect databases and portfolios, and generate reports as required

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Minimum five (5) years experience as an advancement professional within leadership, annual, major, and/or planned giving environments
  • Demonstrated experience in prospect identification, cultivation, solicitation, and recognition
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to draft, proofread, and edit written material
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with attention to detail and creativity
  • Experience with fundraising database software and advanced computer skills
