Senior Manager, Annual Giving

Diabetes Canada is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Manager, Annual Giving to lead our annual donor program and drive revenue growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing multi-channel fundraising campaigns, managing relationships with agencies and vendors, and analyzing data to inform future strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual donor campaigns, including campaign planning, concept development, and budget management.
  • Manage relationships with external agencies and vendors, ensuring timely and effective delivery of fundraising campaigns.
  • Analyze data and insights to inform future fundraising strategies and optimize annual donor engagement.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to develop and maintain sustainable and scalable CRM data management processes.
  • Work with the Mission and Marketing Communications teams to identify and source relevant content for multi-channel campaigns and donor stewardship communications.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years' progressive experience in direct response fundraising, with a strong understanding of messaging, creative, testing methodologies, and data and segmentation strategies.
  • Experience managing direct reports and overseeing external fundraising agencies and vendors.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize data to drive insights and make recommendations for ongoing campaign and annual donor journey optimization.
  • Commitment to donor-centered fundraising principles, with a deep understanding of annual donor audience and methods by which donors can best be retained to increase their lifetime value.
