Job Title: Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring exceptional food quality, and maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of our award-winning Tex-Mex dishes, including sizzling fajitas and AAA steaks.
- Lead the culinary team to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure compliance with food safety regulations.
- Provide leadership and coaching to both full-time and part-time staff, including training and development programs.
- Manage the employee weekly schedule and communicate shift priorities and responsibilities.
- Work with a team of managers and a regional director to manage and shape the restaurant's profit and loss statements.
- Exemplify exceptional leadership skills, using our core values of People, Empowerment, Results, and Coaching.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate preferred.
- Lift items up to 30lbs.
- The ability to remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift.
