Executive Leadership Opportunity in Cybersecurity and NERC Compliance

As a Chief Director, you will be responsible for managing client relationships, implementing solutions, and delivering project results. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting sales growth targets within the Risk, Compliance, Security Team by establishing and facilitating business development meetings and fostering industry relationships.
  • Leading workstreams that enable the assessment, development, and enhancement of business strategies, operating plans, business processes, organizational structures, and supporting infrastructure for clients with an emphasis on the Canadian market.
  • Conducting NERC audits, improving NERC Compliance and Cybersecurity processes, analyzing internal controls, and implementing process improvements.

The ideal candidate will have nine years of post-graduation working experience within the electric utility industry, including as a regulator, with emphasis on NERC Reliability Standards (Canada and/or USA). A Bachelor's degree in a business, policy, communications, economics, finance, and/or related discipline is required. The salary for this position is estimated at $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience. This role requires strong industry relationships across Canada, strong project management skills, and the ability to manage multiple time-sensitive priorities without diminished effectiveness. Ability to travel within Canada and reside in Canada are also required. Preference will be given to candidates with MBA degrees or similar advanced degrees in business, communications, and/or economics discipline. Experience with Regional Entity, NERC, CER, or related regulatory monitoring entity and/or experience working in an internal monitoring role is highly desirable.
