At Amazon, we're seeking an accomplished Cloud Computing Engineer to join our team in delivering cutting-edge solutions that empower customers with region flexibility and address the fundamental needs for Compute, Orchestration, and Observability. This role involves designing and implementing technical solutions that meet our high standards of innovation, scalability, and reliability.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing highly distributed systems and customer-friendly web applications using Agile and incremental delivery methods. They must enjoy working on complex software systems in a customer-centric environment and be passionate about building good software that achieves its goals in operational reality.

We're looking for individuals who are excited about contributing to the innovations that power Amazon's next-generation computing architecture, making broad impacts across all Amazon business lines, including Amazon Stores, Kindle, Alexa, Pharmacy, Payments, and more. Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing highly distributed systems and customer-friendly web applications
  • Designing and implementing technical solutions that meet our high standards of innovation, scalability, and reliability
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and reliable software systems

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
  • 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture experience
  • Experience programming with at least one software programming language
  • 3+ years of full software development life cycle experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary range of $114,800 - $191,800 per year
