Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Property Manager to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of rental properties, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring the smooth operation of our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of properties, delivering exceptional property management services to our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare and execute client agreements, negotiate rental and lease agreements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare annual property budgets, authorize spending, and track budget variances.
  • Coordinate large renovation projects, ensuring timely completion and within budget.
  • Liaise with site staff to prioritize repairs, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Handle after-hours emergencies and rent-up/move-out procedures as required.

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience as a leasing agent/property manager, managing different types and sizes of properties and client situations.
  • Proficiency in property accounting systems, building management software, and owner/tenant portals.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act of British Columbia and the Strata Property Act.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of building systems and operations.
  • Highly efficient, organized, and skilled at time management.

What We Offer:

As a full-time associate, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health and dental insurance, time off benefits, and access to our Employee Assistance Plan and Tuition Reimbursement Program.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus bonus eligibility of up to $5,000 per calendar year.
