Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Property Manager to join our team in Victoria, British Columbia. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of rental properties, including residential and commercial buildings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse portfolio of properties, delivering excellent property management services to clients.
  • Interact with clients and tenants to address their concerns and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Prepare and execute client agreements, negotiate rental and lease agreements, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and manage annual property budgets, authorize spending, and track budget variances.
  • Coordinate large renovation projects and ensure that work is performed safely and efficiently.
  • Liaise with site staff to prioritize repairs, maintenance, and cleaning.
  • Ensure that all work performed on properties adheres to safety standards and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Three years of experience as a leasing agent or property manager, managing different types and sizes of properties and client situations.
  • Proficiency in property accounting systems, building management software, and owner/tenant portals.
  • Thorough knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act of British Columbia and the Strata Property Act.
  • Strong customer service skills, with excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Highly efficient, organized, and skilled at time management.

What We Offer:

As a full-time associate, you will be eligible for comprehensive benefits, including health and dental insurance, time off benefits, and access to our Employee Assistance Plan and Tuition Reimbursement Program.

Compensation:

$70,000 - $75,000 per annum, plus bonus eligibility of up to $5,000 per calendar year.
