This is a full-time position that will be based at our project site. The successful candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record in safety management.



Job Description



  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization by providing guidance and support to supervisors and crew members.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and observations to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety procedures.
  • Develop and implement safety training programs to enhance employee knowledge and skills.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and recommend corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with site management to develop and implement safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate records of safety-related activities and provide reports as required.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in safety management.
  • Participate in the development of emergency response plans and conduct regular drills.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need:



  • A minimum of 5 years of direct field experience in a related field.
  • National Construction Safety Officer Designation (NCSO) or equivalent.
  • Strong computer skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
