Key Responsibilities:
  • Hire, Supervise, and Schedule Staff: Lead a team of landscapers and gardeners, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to complete projects efficiently.
  • Schedule Events and Programs: Coordinate with clients to plan and execute events, programs, and activities that showcase our landscaping expertise.
  • Plan and Estimate Labour and Materials: Develop detailed plans and estimates for projects, ensuring timely completion and budget adherence.
  • Organize and Direct Construction: Oversee the construction of decks, decorative walls, and other landscape features, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Maintain Work Records and Logs: Accurately record and track project progress, staff performance, and material usage.
  • Requisition Materials and Equipment: Order necessary materials, equipment, and supplies to support project execution.
  • Resolve Work Problems and Provide Technical Advice: Troubleshoot issues, provide guidance, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity and product quality.
  • Plan and Organize Daily Operations: Develop and implement daily schedules, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely completion of tasks.
  • Evaluate Daily Operations: Monitor and assess project progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
  • Coordinate Subcontractor Activities: Work with subcontractors to ensure seamless execution of projects, meeting client expectations.
Requirements:
  • Education: College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in landscaping, construction, or a related field.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Hours: 40 hours per week.
